The Pennsylvania Department of Health today launched a new website aimed at ensuring consumers who are looking for health information can find it, whether on a mobile device, tablet, or computer.

The revamped website helps promote healthy lifestyles; provides valuable information about disease and injury prevention and helps Pennsylvanians looking for information about hospitals, surgical facilities and nursing homes in a streamlined fashion.

In the last year, the Department's website received nearly 6.3 million page views. The most frequently visited pages include the vital records page, medical marijuana, the Prescription Drug Monitoring Program, flu, home health services and hospice, the nurse aid registry and school immunizations.

The site also contains a new feature, called the E-Library, which contains all the documents publicly available from the Department. In the E-Library, visitors can filter by topic or type of document to easily find a specific document.

After visiting the new website, users can provide feedback to tell about their visit by clicking the Feedback link in the top navigation bar.

Additional information on our role in improving the health of Pennsylvania can be found on the Department of Health's website<> or follow us on Facebook<> and Twitter<>.
