The Office of Long-Term Living (OLTL) is offering a financial education webinar: “Cents and Sensibility” on Friday, April 13 at 1:00 p.m.

Everyone needs financial skills to make smart decisions about money. When you begin to manage your money there are some important things you should know in order to live independently. This webinar will review the financial education curriculum, ”Cents and Sensibility”: A Guide to Money Management. Topic areas include: how to begin the conversation between wants and needs, developing a money map, how to expand income (and learn about Social Security’s work incentives), safe ways to save, protecting against identity theft, and more. It’s important to provide financial education opportunities to individuals with disabilities as the state promotes initiatives such as “Employment First” and a “Home on Your Own.”  Please join Ms. Susan Tachau, Chief Executive Officer of the Pennsylvania Assistive Technology Foundation, who will conduct the webinar.
